Chef Rekha’s culinary journey began in her family kitchen in Punjab, India, where cooking was a way of life.

Trained and certified in Amritsar, she refined her skills in the heartland of Punjabi cuisine and later earned national recognition as a runner-up on Indian MasterChef.

Now the founder of Lishkara, Chef Rekha brings authentic Punjabi soul food to Swindon, combining family traditions with refined technique.

Her mission is simple: to share the warmth, richness, and true shine of Punjabi cuisine with the local community.

Aman’s journey into hospitality is shaped by strong business leadership and a clear vision for building successful, sustainable brands. As the director of three companies, she brings extensive experience in management, operations, and strategic growth.

With a deep understanding of business systems, finance, and the hospitality industry, Aman oversees the structure and direction of Lishkara, ensuring the restaurant is run with professionalism, consistency, and care.

Her role allows the kitchen to shine while the business behind it remains strong, supporting Lishkara’s growth as a trusted, welcoming Punjabi restaurant for the Swindon community.
